What is Bioethanol? Bioethanol is absolute alcohol also called Methylated Spirits. Bioethanol - or simply 'ethanol' is a renewable energy source made by fermenting the sugar and starch components of plant by-products - mainly sugarcane and crops like grain, using yeast.
